The position will report to the global Financial Service Industry Solutions leader. Job Responsibilities: The Solution Principal is an expert who can understand customers' needs in order to help develop a business driven solution. The successful candidate must be able to move between many key facets of the consulting business lifecycle from business development to pre-sales/sales support to deal qualification and execution, to solution development and client engagement. The role is responsible for pre-sales working with the Unisys sales team and clients/prospects to design and implement solutions related Unisys portfolio offerings. The candidate will work on cutting-edge projects in a highly dynamic and fast-paced industry segment. You will collaborate with and advise members of sales teams on solution features, business requirements, architectural issues, implementation considerations, cost elements and effort estimates. Key Accountabilities: Drives go-to-market strategies and offerings/portfolio plans in partnership with sales and delivery leadership. * Partner with industry groups, sales teams, delivery teams, and research groups to develop competitive solutions and business strategies for Unisys' market. * Acts as a strategic advisor throughout the sales and delivery cycle of a solution implementation to help shape the value proposition. * Engage with customers in executive meetings, solution workshops and design sessions. * Clearly articulate business value of Unisys solutions through thoughtful presentations and demos. * Drives involvement in industry events, white papers, and user groups to enhance and grow Unisys' solutions and brand image within the Financial Services market. * Leads the development of new Unisys offerings and services through leveraging professional community participation. Key Skills: * Understand the challenges that financial services firms face as they are being disrupted by Fintech startups as well as a host of new technology and channels * Highly experienced with legacy systems at Tier 1 & 2 banks * Current on technology trends, especially: Digital, Big Data, Data Governance, Cloud Technologies, API's, Cloud Native applications, IaaS, PaaS * Well-versed in the challenges that are posted by regulatory and compliance requirements * Able to form business case justifications for investment to solve challenges and opportunities facing financial services firms of all sizes Qualifications: * At least 15 years' experience in the financial services business and technology space * Deep understanding of the technology needs of today's Financial Service Institutions (SME banking, wealth management, insurance, payments, portfolio management) * Understanding of Big Data technologies and Data Governance challenges * Deep knowledge of legacy systems of records at Tier 1 & 2 banks Do you have what it takes to be mission-critical?
