41035BR Software Engineer- Malvern Entry Level/ Junior Professional Job Description Software Engineers develop and deploy technologies that save lives and improve the health of communities. As a Software Engineer, you will create industry-leading technology that impacts patient care and/or Cerner business around the globe. You are responsible for writing code, testing and debugging new software. You will make enhancements to existing software from clear requirements, participate in code reviews and identify basic issues or deviations from best practices and develop knowledge of assigned solution, technologies, development processes and ecosystems. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience Proficient programming knowledge Experience with one or more preferred programming languages, but not limited to: Java, C#, C++, Visual Basic, JavaScript, Ruby, Python or Objective C.
