The manager will strictly adhere to and enforce established departmental policies and procedures required to service alternative funds. The responsibilities for this position may include some or all of the following: Ensure the overall quality and delivery of services in accordance with client-specific service model and in accordance with client requirements. Provide strategic and tactical management to Investor Services management teams and operations. Use knowledge and experience to facilitate development of client solutions by assessing client needs/trends, documenting business requirements, prioritizing requests to the Solutions team, testing proposed solutions. Drive technology enhancements by identifying technology gaps, documenting technical requirements, researching potential solutions, and implementing new systems. Streamline internal procedures/controls by identifying risk areas and service gaps, documenting proposed workflows, implementing/training staff. Develop and implement new policies specific to department and administer existing company and departmental policies. Maintain client and vendor relationships and support new initiatives and requests. Provide and foster team environment to include individual development, promotions and disciplinary action. Understand, communicate and resolve unique client issues along with SEI Relationship Teams. Maintain IS process and procedures documents and strictly adhere to and enforce established departmental procedures and controls and maintain a zero tolerance for error. Collect, track, and report on key statistics. Develop, track, and report on key metrics and business drivers. Support new business development team for prospect calls, visits, and presentations. Serve as an escalation point for team leaders. Facilitate the on-boarding of new and converted clients by gathering client requirements, submitting any custom requests to the Solutions team, and communicating key deliverables to team leaders. Maintain strong and professional working relationships with all internal/external parties including external clients, external audit firms, internal operations management team, internal audit, platform team, relationship managers, Product/Solutions team. Support offshore investor servicing for jointly serviced clients with Dublin office when necessary. Manage Investor Services Team Leaders to ensure client deliverable coverage Ensure staffing requirements are met by assessing resource requirements, interviewing candidates and hiring employees.
