Position Description :

The EPS RN assists during Cardiac Cath and EPS procedures, while providing holistic care to each patient during the time they are in the lab and back to the floor. EPS RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care plan, monitor and document patient vital signs, overall status, events, and conditions throughout the procedure

Minimum Requirements :

The qualified candidate must have a BSN, and a current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse Licensure. Electrophysiology experience preferred. Minimum of two years Critical Care experience preferred. Must maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications..

Additional Information :

Must use initiative and judgment in providing patient care. Responding to emergency situations within the laboratory. Mechanical ability is needed in operating specialty equipment and instruments. Must maintain mental, visual and aural awareness during laboratory procedures and providing quality care to all patients from adolescents to the older adults. Excellent documentation is required.
