Sage Senior Living Accountant - Land and Property Development in Springfield, Pennsylvania

Sage Life is in an exciting growth period. New land sites are being purchased and developed to create a top-rated Senior Living Communities. This Accountant position will be at the forefront at ensuring SageLife acquisition and project development costs are accurately reflected. Independent thinker and strong organizational skills are important to ensure construction agreements and scheduled payments are timely. This position will not only be working with internal Sage Life accounting staff but also Senior Level Management and Construction Project Managers. This position will be an integral part of the Construction/Development Team.

The Development Accountant performs professional level accounting work in the maintenance and review of fiscal records of our development projects. The position requires considerable knowledge of basic accounting principles and accounting functions. This individual is responsible for the general ledger, job cost, bank reconciliations and accounts payable. Additional responsibilities include performing monthly closings, maintenance of accounting files, and preparation/organization of various financial forms, reports, and financial analyses, etc. This individual may be asked to assist with ad-hoc projects and general office support tasks when necessary. These responsibilities and tasks will be coordinated with and supervised by the Controller.
