Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

The role of the Corporate Security Architecture Program and Project Manager requires an experienced program and project management professional with basic technical competency and broad understanding of Information Security, Oracle Cloud Services and products, implementation methodologies, project estimating, client communications, and project and proposal leadership.

The Corporate Security Architecture Program and Project Manager works closely with other Corporate Security teams (Global Information Security, Global Product Security, Global Physical Security) and Line of Business Security and Risk Management teams as well as other PMO organizations across the entire company to ensure Corporate Security Architecture projects and key initiatives are tracked and delivered on time, within budget and according to the project plan scope. The Corporate Security Architecture Program and Project Manager will also identify and mitigate any risks throughout the projects s/he manages.

General Responsibilities:

Works under the supervision of the Corporate Security Architect on Corporate Security Architecture programs, projects and key initiatives such as but not limited to:

  • Corporate Security Solution Assurance process

  • IT Security Solution Architecture Summit

  • Cloud Security Architecture Oversight

  • other special projects

Collects security requirements and works with stakeholders to translate them into project deliverables and milestones. Responsible for project governance, stewardship, financial management and project planning.

Owns the creation and updating of relevant project documentation including:

  • Project initiation activities

  • Executive sponsors and stakeholders

  • Business, technical and security requirements

  • Scope and Objectives

  • Milestones

  • Dependencies - including Legal, Regulatory, Contractual, etc.

  • Risks and Mitigation Strategies

  • Critical Success Factors and KPIs

  • Project Plan

  • Change Management Process

  • Client and stakeholder communication

  • Metrics and Project Status Reporting

  • Project Schedules & Meeting Logistics

  • Meeting minutes

  • Tracking action items

  • Manages successful project closure and hand-off processes

Job Requirements:

  • Prior program and project management experience in the IT industry

  • Must be able to manage, work with and coordinate cross-functional virtual global teams across Oracle LoBs

  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity with Oracle APEX, Confluence, Primavera and other Oracle technologies used to manage programs and projects
